Just wanted to send a quick note that we will be CLOSED on Father’s Day, this coming Sunday, June 17th!

And, to make up for the last-minute closure, here is a fun, short story that explains WHY.

My mom went vacationing in California a few weeks back so she could say HI to the ocean, and stare at the amazing sea cliffs. Ah, beautiful, isn’t it?

So beautiful, in fact, they lured her in, and she FELL OFF ONE. Nope, not kidding. She literally missed a step, and fell off a cliff. Lucky for her, she is in fabulous shape and she bounced nicely, easily surviving with only 4 staples in her head, a broken toe, a broken finger, a fractured elbow, and thoroughly ruined brand-new skinny jeans.

Since I am a slave driver and I employ and boss around my own mother, she was on the schedule to work the shop this weekend. However, she had to have minor surgery to reattach a ligament in her thumb, and therefore, cannot cut fabric! Horror! Therefore, I have kindly given my mom the day off to rest AFTER a stern talking to about avoiding cliffs. :)
